Marches Meet 2015 - B & B

#1 Post by MartDude » Wed Feb 04, 2015 6:57 pm

I've just spoken to the new owners of The Crown. They tell me that they currently have 2 rooms available for Friday May 15th., and 1 for Saturday May 16th - seems they've already attracted a significant new clientele since taking over in September. £70.00 per room per night.

So, if you want B & B, get your booking in PDQ!

The Crown Inn, Newcastle-on-Clun, 01588 640271. New owners are Wendy and Richie.

There is another B & B establishment nearby, recommended by Dawn (Mrs. Campsite); about 3/4 mile from the campsite.

The Quarry House Bed and Breakfast; proprietor Michelle Evans; 01588 640774. Currently, three rooms available on both Friday and Saturday nights. £70.00 per room per night.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Just booked a hotel room in Kensington for £55 a night.. That includes breakfast.. I pride myself on using local traders and supporting family business', but there comes a point where the piss is just a little too green for my liking. :smt002

(Footnote. Not saying it's a rip off.. Well.. I am, but.. What I'm trying to say is.. Erm.. Maybe it's a really nice place and worth every penny. However, it'll be a tent n' doss bag fer me. :smt003 )

I'm going to the 'American Speedfest' at Brands to meet up with an old friend next month - though I would try and book somewhere to stay - £170 !!!!!

Went for the camping option!

The friends had the forethought to book when it wasn't so pricy but I was a bit busy hospital-hopping at the time! :smt002
