Just to let peeps know that we are still planning to attend on Saturday, but need to know what our target arrival time should be so we don't miss the ride-out.
Also I'm still having problems with getting the cooling system bled and airlock-free after fitting a new set of hoses (that'll learn me). We did a couple of runs last weekend when the temps never got higher than 66 deg C, and another one when the temp shot up to 110 deg C in no time an it puked up coolant..
I thought I'd fixed it last weekend, after burping all the hoses and having it run steadily around 80-90 deg C, but I came to start it today, and temps shot skyward again. I'll be fiddling with it tomorrow, so hopefully Saturday is still a goer for us.

I am trying to bodge a 42t rear onto the existing chain and sprocket tomorrow have a spare chain but Steve the tyres won't split chains so of its not a suitable legnth hoping to get the 15/42t combo on the existing one ( the front is already 15 and I don't have a spare )
Never dull is it
Then next week swap tyres and investigate the leak on old red

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

The weather is a bit iffy so most likely I'll be on the RS. I'm happy with that as with the RS I want to traverse continents where as the cafe racer though a lovely to ride, is hard on the hands and arse after an hour or so.
I shall also be there by around 4PM possibly earlier with the intention of getting comfy and a head start on the evenings activities.

Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today
