#1 Post by hiscot » Thu Mar 19, 2015 10:30 pm

Just for reference , I also have a husky te510 04 plate and have just noticed it has the exact same switches as the falco both lights and start switch I presume the connector blocks will be the same ?
My falco and husky have the lights on/ off button
There is a guy in carnforth that breaks huskies if ever anyone is stuck

They certainly look familiar. Seems like you are in the best position to compare and switch them over to test, though!

Wouldn't have said "the same exact switches". simlar layout, but the mouldings etc look different. Might be a suitable swap-over, but not "identical" in looks at least

Nothing like the later bikes - maybe they're like the early models?

Yes, similar to the earlier falco switchgear.

Ah a US / Aus colour scheme with the grey frame that's actually a bit lighter in colour than the European bikes with dark frames.
Anyway, I think yours got the later switchgear (but I'm not familiar with the Husky switches)

In that case it looks like several bikes use a very similar switchgear!

may well be a way for those with the newer style switch gear to get a light switch.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yes - they look identical to the newer style switches (most of which do have the light switch, Pete)

Of course

It was only a few of the very last ones that didn't.

So some Falcos actually have the indicators and horn in the right place? I could do with one of those!
