Coventry Motofest 2015
Some of you may have heard that this years event went down a treat with both local folk and those who travelled. The City Council were also impressed with an event put on largely by a bunch of blokes sat around a kitchen table. They were so impressed, that they've given the green light for Coventry Motofest 2015.
There has been some media coverage, and links posted to various motoring forums, both on the WWW and via social media. There are some changes for next year. The big one having been able to obtain permission to stage time trials around Coventry's (in)famous ring road thanks to changes in the road racing laws in England. This is very exciting news indeed!
Below are a few links for your perusal, and if you should wish to participate, please use the forms provided on the Coventry Motofest website.

Footnote;
Although I am part of the organising committee, I am unable to allocate a race slot. This will be down to a separate body within the Coventry Motofest group and be subject to certain criteria beyond even their control. However, if you would like to display your bike/car/tractor/bus/tank/milk float, please get in contact. There is a cut off date of 1990 for motorcycles and 1994 for cars if you would like to be involved in a display. The event is aimed to celebrate British motoring history, mainly that which has/had roots in Coventry.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

You might as well allocate 2 slots 1 for Pete as he will break down and not be able to use it and one for jay as he will go round on the grass and not take up a race bay anyway ... It's a win win ...
You do have grass in Coventry don't you ?

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Evnin all.
Do any of you own a classic car or classic motorbike, and would be interested in displaying them at Coventry Motofest? Drop me a line at;
will@coventrymotofest.com
If you don't, but know someone who might, please feel free to pass on my details.
The ringroad on Saturday will be closed in one direction for parade and display laps. This'll be open to anyone registered to take part or has a display vehicle in the event.
Sunday will be a full closure of the ring road for RACE DAY!
(Unfortunately, racing is not open to the public as a free-for-all. However, you can register interest on the Coventry Motofest web link above, and your details will be passed on to the relevant team)

We now have a nightclub.. This idea has been in the pipeline for some time, but efforts have now come to bear fruit.

The whole event is promising to be one of this years top motoring attractions.
