What always me .... AGAIN!
So here we are in Russia excellent but long flight new airport improvements mean getting through visa control is a lot better or due to the current political climate they don't care who comes in!
Maybe it was when I put the super charged mini me on the counter and pressed the go button that the agent thought why is there a Taz on my desk ... Who knows but anyway straight through luggage arrived in less than 10 minutes ... Well most of it did ... :( that was Sunday and the pram still hasn't arrived so spent most of it doing quintuple report forms most of today trying to get hold of Lufthansa staff and the rest of it carrying the mighty atom all 12 kilos of him in my arms round st Petersburg feel like I have spent most of the day wrestling a slippery bear cub ... To be fair he's been brilliant so tomorrow we will be going out to try and find a cheap buggy to use for the rest of the week before they no doubt lose it on the way back
As an aside the wife wasn't too impressed when she found me buying one of those old biddy shopping carts to ferry him round in bit it was a lot cheaper and I wanted to have the discussion with Lufthansa staff on the way back as to why it was a baby cart and not a shopping cart. She was even less impressed when I explained I was going to label it courtesy of Lufthansa and upload to YouTube
Anyway coffee and brandy anyone I need one !

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

You should write a book!
If it wasn't for no luck, you'd have none at all. Hope the rest of your get-away goes smoothly and that Putin doesn't decide to incarcerate you over a lost buggy which could be turned in to a spy satellite!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

So getting ready to head back from Russia this morning loading stuff in the lift on the 6th floor as the 7th floor doesn't work... Never got told why and the lift in a possessed for if madness decides to take off for the 5th floor ... Which not only doesn't work but is locked ... And that's where it still is as far as we know... With one of our cases in it , waiting for a man called Otis or something
On top of that get to the airport and the Lufthansa rep wanted to charge us 150£ extra to take the spare pram that we had bought to replace the one that they had lost?!
I asked for a receipt ... He said what for to which I replied for this and launched the spare pram onto the check in desk ...the pram cost about 35£and looks like it came free with Freddo the frog chocolate bars.
Still at Frankfurt whilst I spent another two hours filling in forms for the damage to the original pram and the missing parts a lady said here have one if our complimentary overnight kits for when a flight is cancelled
To which I muttered this had better not be an omen or a roundabout (there's that word again) way if telling me something
Theo by this time was overtired and anxious so I had to resort to johnny cash and Paul Robesin songs to calm him down... Didn't make a cent so busking not looking like a career option for me then! Still home now back to work in 6 hours bugger ill have to drink tomorrow. :(
