Water leak
Ever since I changed the coolant a few months ago I have had a water leak, the signs of it are a small white deposit appearing on the side of the cylinder and also pooling a little on the top of the clutch housing.
To be honest I am sick of trying to sort it so in one last effort I am going to try and remove the hose clamps that came on the bike with jubilee clips, has anyone else done this sort of thing and are there any pitfalls to watch out for.
It must be something I dislodged when I was trying to bleed\pump the system when I changed the fluid, it is not pouring out but it is annoying.

A week ago I had a coolant leak from the 3 way manifold. One of those "undo-able" hose clamps had come loose.
Removed it and replaced with a jubilee clip.
I've replaced a number of those clips with jubilee clips - both on the coolant circuit and the oil circuit - though not on the sight tube.
Might change the sight tube myself given I can't see through it any more ....

That's explain why I've not seen it. Would involve bending or kneeling or other thin young people stuff. I'll have a look, ta.Dalemac wrote:It's hidden behind the lower fairing thing, or bellypan if you have one.randomsquid wrote:There's a sight tube? Never noticed to be honest. Have to have a nose at mine.
