Do you know the gingerbread man pub at Drayton? Just off the A53. I'll meet you there if you want. Off to bed now but I'll check this thread in the morning. Post a time and I'll be there for then. I'll pm you my number too then you'll have that if it's easier.

Looks a nice road .... were it not for those SPECS cameras and the obstacles like cyclists ....

Think I'd be looking for a different road!

Interesting that your Falco never gets up to temp until you hit the town.

Eh? :smt102 It gets upto temp at around 2 minutes twenty. Always runs around late 60s to early 70s unless you're in slow moving traffic when it goes up usually until the fans kick in or until you get moving at a steady pace again. I'm led to believe this is normal for this bike and also coincides with my experience from my previous bikes.

Was a shame about the specs cameras but it's a nice road and was a great day out. Sometimes it's nice to bimble along not having to worry about the correct lines or gear or binning my pride and joy. Just relax and enjoy. :smt004

It's a shame the battery died. My fault as I left it running at the Cat. I've also got a video from the Five ways to the Cat but tbh that was a bit boring as we were constantly stuck in traffic.

They usually run about 76C I think it's around that temp the thermostat opens. Obviously when it's hot and you are moving slowly, it will then creep upwards and eventually the fans will cut in at about 96C.

sorry, slight derail, I'm with Andy on the temperature, mine sits at 76/77/78 (depending on the strength of the coolant used) and up to 96 when the fans kick in, there has been a previous discussion on this somewhere. Not sure what the implications are (would think thermostat is stuck open/passing, but might not be an issue)
