Clutch woes

All is well.

Replaced the clutch friction plate and spring and it's all tickety boo. No slip , spot on action.

So that must mean my clutch was worn out, but interestingly there was virtually no difference in the thicknesses of the two sets of plates new and old.
Must be a really fine tolerance betewwen good and bad.

Well the clutch was nicely worn in while thrashing around cadwell so i should be ok for another 25,000 miles at least

when i first changed my oil for comp4a few weeks ago I did get some clutch slip, not much and just when i was giving it some. it stopped doing it after a bit, so no probs. since done 4000 miles so should be OK, well for 500miles till i change it again.
