I think that it was the right decission for him not to go as it would endanger, over and above the norm, hitroop.
However the real question is should any of our boys and girls be out there any way?

Seriously though tend to agree with you Kwaks, can't see how they could have done anything else.
As for Harry, I'm sure her joined up to be in the real army where you fight people you can see. Iraq is not a good place for squaddies and the like, they were not trained to be policemen in a country where almost everybody hates them and at least 25% want to kill them with roadside bombs and the like.
Would have been different if things had stayed like they started off in Basra and they had been able to help rebuild the infrastructure and got on better with the people.
It's much worse than it used to be in Ulster, we should get out ASAP.
