Lo! I's Back

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Fri May 18, 2007 6:15 pm

Passed my course (3 rolled into one) which now means my rank (no, not on here) is substantive. I have also been recommended by them to be put forward to go instructor at one of the Training Regiments. God help 'em, Is all I can say !!

Anyways, I passed my courses. Drinks are on me! :smt001 :smt003

I think it should be Captain Kwaks from now on! :smt004

Seriously, well done M8.
That bit about you causing bad weather down south. You ain't been anywhere near Akotiri have you, cos just got back from two weeks in Cyprus and the weather wasn't too good there either!
Was about 5 or 10 degrees colder than normal for this time of year and had rain on quite a few days, (not that common in Cyprus).
They normally have about 340 odd sunny days per year and just had about 9 or 10 cloudy days in the last fortnight, (Still a nice relaxing, very friendly place and great food though).
If not you it must have been down to global warming I suppose.
Saw a group of what looked like off duty "army types" out for a run on various Suzukis, (Gixxers, SV1000S, DL1000, 1200 Bandit etc.) out havin a really good run in the mountains, (jealous as hell stuck in a Daihatsu Terios 4WD, but had fun in this off road!). Be nice to get back on the bike though!! :smt007
