Just tried to order a rear wiring harness (falco)..........................APRILIA DO NOT MAKE/HOLD anymore!!!!!!

tried through ultimateparts and yorkshire/aprilia online been told the same thing


So what are you supposed too do for parts?? Oh yes silly me BUY A NEW FUCKING BIKE!! sorry aprilia but crap like that makes me want get rid of it.
if you can't ride it....
OR take it too bed...

Well the falco has been out of production for nearly 10 years now so this isn't an unusual situation.

For wiring issues it can be a case of just getting some wire and replacing the bits you need. If it's a connector problem, that can be more of an issue.

The other things to do are:
  • * Try ebay
    * Try breakers
    *See whether your mates have got a bit squirrelled away that they are prepared to release from their stock

Wiring wouldn't be a problem. It's one of the pins in bulb holder.

Will try breakers BUT that's not the point.

You can get parts for many bikes much older than the falco, just shows me poor customer service and loyalty.

For a machine that sold in low numbers, with prices slashed, on which they probably made a significant loss .... I think it would be unreasonable to expect all parts are still stocked 10 years after end of production.
