Going to Change the fork oil

^ That description is surely messed up; as mentioned fork oil is single grade, the "5W30" naming is for engine oil multigrade type. Also further down says "10W30", so someone needs to review website.
If it actually says fork oil "5W" on the bottle it could be used...

Well to partly answer my own Q re oil volume/air gap from April '13:
Got the oil renewed during the weekend... Didnt measure the exact added oil volume in milliliters, but trusted solely the 118 mm below edge stated in the manual. As it turned out very close to 500 ml. in each leg, as the one liter bottle was nearly emptied. Have no idea how old the previous oil was, but appearance/sludge didn't seem too bad...
So I guess the other numbers of 460 ml / 80'ies mm air gap could reflect that springs/internals were left fitted...

New set of Angel GT's will be mounted as well - looking forward to riding season!!

Simon, I've got news for you .... the riding season is already here (it's always here - it doesn't go away)SimonDk wrote: New set of Angel GT's will be mounted as well - looking forward to riding season!!
Those Angels are great at this time of year too.
As for the offers to swap people's "No Wheels" for my BSTs - well sorry - I've already got a few sets of "No Wheels"
In my experience, they are absolutely rubbish for keeping your tyres up to pressure.

In principle i'd like to agree with you... But here the weather and road conditions are just too shitty. a) Even if there is no snow the roads are regularly salted, and that grimey salt spray covers everything - don't dare imagine how little vision is left with a visor! b) Also I know from my bicycle, how much faster mechanical parts wear and deteriorate. c) Combine with lack of daylight. ... No dice..D-Rider wrote:.... the riding season is already here (it's always here - it doesn't go away)

Did you use USA or Euro air in your NoWheels?
That can effect tyre performance
