from another forum someone wrote:I saw on our local news news last night that a biker was clocked by the police(hand held speed gun) doing 170mph on the A47 in West Norfolk. The police officer said"he was going so fast I never had time to see the number plate,he was wearing a blue jacket tho"

Not with the shite rubber he had on it when I saw it, he'd fall off at the 1st bend.

i do believe that the local constabulary was being a little economical with the truth

the speed trap concerned is a measured distance trap and takes a pictue of the front of the vehicle

hence the description - a mainly yellow bike, with the rider wearing blue leathers

(I could be wrong about this of course!)

BUT - i do know a local chap, not known for being slow, who has VERY recently bought some new leathers as he no longer liked his blue ones, and while he was at it, added some white decals to his yellow ducati.....

of course this could just be a coincidence....

Wouldn't be surprised if he also had another bike to ride to throw Sherlock off the scent.
