Thanks. I saw the sticky which is what got me worried about it in the first place :)

Provided it's MOTable I don't care. I shan't be riding at night much.

I got mine a year or so ago from a bike mechanic who shouldn't even be allowed near a meccano let alone a bike. I took a little while to put right his wrong, but i am so glad i stuck with it, I did very nearly take it back. Now I have to say it is by far the best bike I have ever owned, I will never tire of the sound, it is an extremely good all round bike. BTW I'm about 40 minutes down the A14.

Midlands then

Unlikely to know what a bath is, let alone get out of one for a piss....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

As far as the EU headlight goes, I found out about the bikes with EU headlights, (I think they were mainly bikes brought in by DK M/Cycles) and the post enabled me to check that mine was one of these bikes from DK.
I had owned the bike about 3 of 4 years at that time. I have now had it almost ten years, so it has been through ten MOTs, nine with me and never even had an advisory about the headlight or anything else.
If it bothers you, tape can be fitted as shown in the post, (Similar to how you modify a UK car for driving in the EU, but the other way round).
As a final point it is the best and most reliable bike I have ever owned, and I love it just as much now as I ever have, it still gives me a special thrill every time I ride it.
I hope you enjoy yours as much.

Yes. It's tucked up safely in the garage.

When I was riding it out of the dealers in Gloucestershire at 3pm in the pouring rain with a 2 hour motorway ride ahead and only an hour left of daylight I wasn't exactly looking forward to it...

2 hours later I all but had to be prised off it! :smt003

I'll put some pics up tomorrow when it's light and have a proper poke around it.

As far as night riding goes our Falco's have the best standard headlights I've ever known on a bike...

Only out done by the HID setup on my tourer!
