Aye

Absent friends

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Definitely. Been indulging in the pleasing melancholy of remembrance of things - and people - past. So yes - cheers, Sam.

Indeed - Sam has been in my thoughts this Christmas - must be the sight of those bearded chaps in red going ho-ho-ho that's kept bringing him to mind.

..... and knowing Sam, I'm certain he'd also want us to raise a glass to Ligloo too.

I know a few of us have also lost close family members this year so I'm sure we'll have them in our minds too ..... though I draw the line at drinking my dad's home made wine to remember him (though some of it wasn't bad)

So here's to Sam

... and here again to those others we've lost

Yes, please raise your glasses to Sam, Ligloo and others who are no longer with us, but will always be remembered in here.
Cheers!

Glass raised to those who are no longer with us in body, glass also raised to the family and friends of the above.
