I have similar problems to Stumblebum, will only start on fast idle about 80% of the time.
I have to resort to around half or three quarter throttle, as soon as she fires she will run happily on fast idle.
Plugs fairly new, gapped 2ish months ago, air filter spotless, ridden every day so no stale fuel issues.....
Maybe stretched fast idle cable ?

or throttle balance

but i would also try some redex or equivalent

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I've found some NGK DCPR9EIX iridium plugs at a good price, they are gapped at 0.8mm do I have to adjust them to 0.6-0.7mm?

Just finished running some of that BG fuel system cleaner ( in a can not a bottle labeled 12% ABV )
TB's were balanced 9 months ago so may be an issue, runs fine when started

I've got the knack of starting it now, give it a turn over without any fast idle and then turn it over on full fast idle and it starts every time! Had a lovely ride out in the meons and a stop at the cafe, proper job!

I'm trying to put off spending too much to start with, I've already bought an Oxford cover, solar charger and Oximiser 900 charger. Also ordering Iridium plugs and a K&N filter, I'm going to put off buying aftermarket pipes although I did see another Falco yesterday with high level cans and the sound it made was bloomin awesome! It also had a belly pan and a few other extras, it was the same colour as mine and I was wondering if it was someone off of here? Are there Falco owners on this site from the Hampshire area?

Wise plan - get to know it and then decide what you want to do with it. I had standard cans on mine for years before going for a 2into1.

Sounds as though it might have been Anzacinexile - he's from southerly regions ...... and now he's over here he he's not quite as far south but lives on the southern edge of Hampshire. Bike sounds like his too.

Temptations, temptations. Does anyone have experience of Motad Venom exhausts? They are selling them new for a pair reduced to £179.00 on ebay, that's got to be a good deal surely!

Mine has had them on since I bought it going on for three years ago. I had to redo a rivet on one of them which took ooh, minutes. Mine have after market DB killers in and they're very, very quiet. Runs fine, feels nippy enough.

Motads sound ok and perform well - I have not owned a set myself but Craig had some

At that price new..... Can't be bad

ANYTHING is better than the standard anchors

(Wait till you take them off - you will be surprised at the weight of each can!)
