to Pete (Aladinsaneuk) for the kind offer of borrowing his rear wheel should mine not have been ready in time. As it happens Southern Cross ensured it was done in good time, so i didnt need to take him up on the offer.. remembering i'm commuting daily and in winter too.. I think that deserves a round of drinks as a thankyou.. (I will of course be getting him some real beers in when i see him too..)
Oh and Pete, I think we need to talk to SC.. Ive heard some stupendous figures from their old bike (which i vaguely remember at the time) and theyre returning to racing next year as well...

No worries
Was a plan to turn your donor bike too even more of a falco hybrid....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Oh and where i thought it was 75 quid for the bearings....
Naah.
4 bearings = £38.80
Legends....
Oh and apparently i got my money's worth out of the old bearings..

they had to weld bits on to the inner edges of the outer races to allow them something to drive against... (as the inners disintegrated..)
