Oh dear

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Sat Sep 28, 2013 8:03 pm

On the way to meet Geoff at buxton today I stopped off to check my phone.
One of the futura boys came along for the ride, he stopped at the side of me whilst I checked my phone.
Unfortunately he lost his footing and nearly laid his bike on my right leg.
I moved my bike forward and put it on the side stand.
I didn't notice we was on a slight hill and helped him lift his bike.
You know when you see something out of the corner of your eye and it seems to go in slow motion?
New mirror, lever required and the belly pan is damaged. :smt012
Glad I had the crash bungs fitted as things could have been worse. :smt083

If it's any consolation i dropped the Mille in london the other day. Lost footing.. well my leg gave way.. when i stalled it and laid it down quite gently, with a nice padded cushion for it to lie on...

Tell the truth you forgot your legs don't reach the floor!!
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Glad it wasn't worse, still annoying I guess. Hope it's easy to sort

Yup the magpie and I'd like to point out I was nowhere near at the time!

And hobbit tried my m star boots..... Once we lifted them into them, they seemed fine....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yup, horrible isn't it? Glad you mostly got away with it.
I walked away from a bike once without putting the stand down at all :smt017
Don't tell anybody though, they'll think I'm a right twat.

My mate fell off his Gpz at a junction because he forgot he wasn't in the car.
He's a bigger twat than both of us.

How about this for Uber Twat, we had a young agency kiddie at work last week, he was certainly a bit odd.
He came in on friday morning and said I fell asleep on my scooter last night, I had my elbow holding the throttle open and I fell asleep on the bypass.............. :smt017
