Brake seals

#1 Post by ginge » Mon Aug 26, 2013 4:35 pm

Hi, I realise there is a sticky for this exact subject but having read/followed it I'm none the wiser and many of the links are way out of date. To this end doe anyone have the Brembo kit number so I could search for it or can anyone tell me if the kit to the link below (A) fits and (B) is any good?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aprilia-RS250 ... 2576ccbaf3

Thanks for any help

That seal set is for the single pin Brembo Goldline P3034 calipers; OE Falcos have the twin pin Brembo Goldline P3034 calipers fitted. However piston sizes are the same (34mm/30mm), so there is a good chance they'll fit. I'd ring up Powerhouse and ask them; they should know.

From further reading I've also found a link to these for the KTM, again for a single pin caliper.

Is this the Powerhouse youre reffering to?...http://www.powerhouseautomotive.co.uk/

Yes; those are the people I was referring to. They're the people who posted the ebay caliper seals for the single pin Brembos. They do lots of caliper seal kits and overhauls, so hopefully they know what they're talking about.

The key is whether the seal kits are the same for single and twin pin calipers; common sense tells you they should be, but Brembo are Italian...
