After 3 years of happy(ish) ownership I'm afraid I will be leaving the Aprilia fold. Its a sort of reverse of a mid life crisis as I will be leaving the Falco for its heftier, less pretty Italian cousin(A Moto Guzzi Stelvio). Will be selling the Falco in a couple of weeks(along with some extras seperately including Motad cans and bellypan). Thanks for all the help and advice I've received over the years. Phil

You are still welcome here !

Rider site is about people - not a specific bike type

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I like Guzzis. I borrowed a Stelvio for a bit. Enjoyed it but it was not a potential replacement for the Falco. A whole different beast so it all depends on what you want a bike for.

Yep - enjoy the Guzzi but stick around - you don't give us the slip that easily and we want to hear all about your Stelvio.

Hmmm, bit late on this one, but I'm after a set of oval cans (stainless or titanium) for a Falco... Do yours fit the bill?

Been nice having you with us Phil, so keep in touch and tell us about the Guzzi.
I'm especially interested, as I keep thinking about buying a Norge.
In my case it would be to replace the ZX9R and I would be keeping the Falco.
Trouble is everybody says the BMW RT is better, but I have always liked Guzzis since I had a ride on a Le Mans many years ago.
The Norge and the Stelvio have pretty much the same running gear, and both look good to me.
Hope you enjoy it.

Yes my choice at the time was the Norge but then I was made redundant and the bonus had to be spent elsewhere. Got the much older BMW RS for a lot less.
