Prof Mick Aston dead: Time Team archaeologist passes away aged 66

Fan Lee Brady, of the Save Time Team campaign, said: "The Time Team crew and Channel 4 should commission a 'one-off' special dig in memory of Mick.

..... Now the Time Team have excavated a new 6ft deep trench into which Mick Aston is being lowered to inspect the lower strata.

..... it seems he's being left there and they are now refilling the trench ......

Sad - I've enjoyed Time Team and the contribution Mick made to it.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

One of the blokes who thought the idea up. Very clever man. :smt009
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

He'll be missed.
