Been an expensive day so might as well open a tab here ....

#1 Post by D-Rider » Tue May 28, 2013 4:20 pm

Today:
  • MOT'd the Falco
Insured the Falco (10 quid more than last year but it covers 15 months so wasn't grumbling .... though lots of "free" extras that I didn't want .... but as they are free, deleting them saves nothing)
Bought an accessory for the bike ..... a van! (well, it can transport the bike but really it's for my lad's business that he's setting out on)
Insured the Van (ouch ! ..... but noticed it was better to start the insurance Friday as it goes up by an extra £500 on Saturday .... me thinks new rates must kick-in on 1st June)
...... hope he makes a success of this business and some of the outlay starts coming back before too long .....
So after that lot, I need a drink!

Anyone going to join me?

Pint of tanglefoot please

And hope the business works

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Hope the lads business works out.
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

After the expensive weekend I've just had in Jersey, I can feel your pain.

A pint of Alker-Selzer please squire. :smt119

At least the van can be used for collecting Pete's bike when it's broken down again... :smt003

I'll certainly join you, Andy. A pint of Chateauneuf du Pape, if I may...
