Understood. It goes without saying you'll be very welcome, however brief the visit.
Probability has gone up a bit .... just realised that it's the previous week that Mum is staying ..... though may still have to go to visit her or be assigned other duties by SWMBO ..........

stuart hall cancelled then?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

Mate you have got to grab the bull by the horns, I imagine she does what she wants, when she wants, apply the same rules, I've never had a problem with my missus saying "you have to do this", no I don't is my attitude.

Probability has plummeted.

Mum not doing great on her own after dad died plus mother-in-law has a number of health problems and has just been hospitalised where they've found clots in both lungs.
TBH I'm getting rather sick of the sight of hospitals but obviously need to be helping those that need to be in there. At least father in law is recovering well from his hip op! (that's hip op .... not hip-hop ............)

So regarding the weekend, the likelihood of me making it is now tiny.

Now that winter's back, I'm starting to be quite glad I won't be there......
