Universal Givi Monorack Fitted

#1 Post by daineseuk » Sat May 04, 2013 9:18 am

Just thought I'd post that i managed quite easily to fit a Givi universal monorack system off eBay(£75, eBay # 360495515058) to my falco with no modifications to may bike or rack, although i did loose my passenger grab rail. I can now use my topbox. It may not the most elegant install but it fits the bill and it was cheaper than buying Aprilia panniers at £200+

I'll post some pictures tonight once i'm back from picking the misses up from gatwick.

Nice, I altered an xjr givi rack to fit my falco, comes in handy for touring, beats a rucksack. Any pics of yours :smt001

Not having to wear a rucksack was the main reason here as well, just being able to put things into the topbox is a brilliant.

just haven't got the time and ability to make something nicer to look at. Its solid as a rock but is a bit meccano to look at, but i love having the topbox, makes taking the bike to work so much easier.

Just waiting for my oberon clutch slave cylinder, banjo bolt + bleed nipple, shorty gear levers and tuono sprocket cover to turn up, hopefully just in time for the weekend.

I've got a tubeless tyre repair kit. It fits in a pocket. Much easier than carrying a pair of wheels about.

can't be that fast - i see no flame graphics....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
