Mine's a late brown one and it came without the switch.nicketynoo wrote:
did any falco's come with a light on/off selector switch cos mine are always on. I always ride with them on but would like to be able to switch off for starting.
I changed the switchgear and it definitely made a difference to starting.
It's a straight swap but you have to pull the fairing off to get at the plug, which to be honest isn't a big job.
Far as I could see when I was doing mine there are three types of switchgear. The one that you have with the blanked off switch. There is one the same but with the switch intact. Then there are the older ones with the silver indicator switch. These have the indicators in the normal place in the middle rather than at the bottom.
Bought mine off here from someone who wanted the indicator switch in the normal position so it looks like all types use the same multiplug.
Where ever I lay my hat.....

Actually in my defence your honour I was only asking if this was the correct way to address your Falco if it didn't start!. I never once stated that these were the actual words used at the time. Think I could get away scott free on a technicalityReggieGasket wrote:If all you needed was a new battery, you'll owe your bike and the Italian nation an appology
