also a shame that you are not near the norfolk dykes - i have two that folk are welcome to for free

(One has no dent but it needs a couple of rivnuts replacing, one has a deink but is otherwise all ok)

offer stands to any one else btw - free on collection - no, i will not post!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

TBF, I reckon most peeps that want to do the swap probably already have done the swap, hence the lack of interest.
Two is the magic number... ;)

Yes - you either think it's a must-have addition, or you just think 'meh'... I can understand why folks do it, but I'm in the latter camp.

What I really don't understand is why Aprilia sent the later bikes out with a black frame and a silver swingarm (or swinging arm if you're Andy...) :smt017

Yep Swingarm swap is bling only (though if you are doing 2:1 exhaust swap it solves clearance issues)

Shock swap is major improvement

Dark frame and shiny swinger was a bit strange - it has to be said

Surely it was so the later slower colours had common ground with the earlier faster ones....

as my original post said...i'm posting for the guy I bought the ohlins front end from. it's his department...if anyone wants his number then I will pm you it.
doing this way saves his registering onsite.

as for the distance! I bought my falco outside Aldershot and my swingarm came from England also. it doesn't have too be next door too buy! airkit from Australia!

the guy is raising money too go racing (triumph series on mainland). he has 2 milles in his garage if theres parts needed...for your info

you can always paint the swingarm as Prilliant03 did when he bought a dark frame falco he has pics on here with it done.

Shipping one to Oz would be too expensive, I think. And then there's the "dark frame / silver swinger" issue as mentioned above.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
