PC III USB PC Programmer

#1 Post by gazzo » Thu Apr 11, 2013 6:38 pm

Hi All
Has anyone got a programmer for the power commander III USB called the pcprog. It's to update the firmware of the unit.
I have an early version of the unit below V 1.0.0.20 & you need this programmer to update it.
I have been in contact with Dynojet and they want £51 squids for it.
Anyone can help :smt009

No it's just the unit to update the firmware that's all.
It looks like if you purchase the display this extra firmare programmer comes with it.
So might be worth investing in this instead, although it looks expensive. :smt010

LOL...I had a quick look and came across it , haven't seen that unit before and thought that maybe what you were after ....
Have to admit nice bit of bling but would be well wasted on me........i just use the Rev counter , speedo and wind rush to know how close i am to coming off !! :smt005

The firmware updating utility can be downloaded from here - along with instructions:

Thanks D-R, I have already downloaded but it wouldn't update because mine is a version below V1.0.0.20. I also have to have this special pcprog to update it evidently :smt017

Why don,t you bite the bullet.
Contact griff and ask about a custom map. This will mean dyno time at griffs but your bike will be set up spot on to any other upgrades you have :smt003
