Rectifier...

#1 Post by GregD-UK » Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:09 pm

Hi all,

Whilst frame off, have decided to upgrade the rectifier. Have sourced a new mosfet one from an R1. This doesn't have two black and red wires coming out of it, only one of each. Will this suffice the recharging of our battery? Will be taking off the standard connectors that impinge the flow from the regulator out of the engine as well :smt002

Cheers in advance...

I think the 2 sets of wires end up joined to each other anyway. Wait for someone else to confirm as I'm no sparky
Pass me a hammer, a spanner and a cuppa

Hi all,

Cheers Wayno, I assume being a "Newer" technology, that it would be compatible. As an R1 is a twin kinda :smt020

This tinkering is getting bigger and more expensive.....
