Well...new to me anyway.

I thought since I'm getting on a bit I'd better buy a more relaxed form of transport,one that befits a person of my vintage. A nice gentle bike with a good spread of power,stable handling and no nasty surprises.

That's what I've been told anyway.

It looks really nice Skub, it may not be a V twin, but I like your colour choice. Obviously a nice comfortable tourer!

What year is your Daytona? What do you make of them?

I have seen one recently with full upgraded Ohlins front and rear, underseat exhaust, quick release feiring fittings, ss swingarm etc

Was thinking its gonna be a collectable in the future might have a dabble

Of course I plan to keep the Falco as well

I love it and was disappointed when they squared it up in later models, although the new 675 is a lovely looking bike.

Mine is a 1999 and not quite in the same condition as the photo at the moment as it had a down the road experience but rides well and delivers a very torquey and useable amount of power, although nothing like the modern thous do.

I agree that it is a classic and will be keeping it even if I get another bike in the future.

I still have to pick up a shed load of bits from where I bought the bike,including a full titanium Akro system,steering damper,Gilles rearsets and other odds and sods,so no doubt they will be bolted on in due course,Falcoholic.

Yeah often, "wheelies R' us"

BTW the 1200 GS has balancer shafts so doesn't rock anymore

It has been scientifically proven on Visordown that Shaft driven vehicles cannot wheelie.

Really Gio,you ought to know better.
