Easter weekend

#1 Post by Tonyunn » Fri Mar 29, 2013 9:10 am

Plugs done, relay done, forks sorted and the bikes vital fluids etc. all checked and ready for nothing, as I type this I am watching little bits of snow drift past the window.

Took a run out in the car yesterday piles of salt at most junctions and ice patches on roads where the sun hasn't dried them.

Bike is still under blankets and I can't see that changing for at least two weeks according to the forecast.

The only good side is my insurance mileage is not going to get used up too early at this rate. :smt009

I heard a rumour that next month there will be a heat wave...So if this is true at least you will be able to put some miles on the bike :smt003

Got back home to reality, wash the dishes or ride the bike ?
I agonised over this decision with a coffee and a roll up....
Then I came up with the perfect compomise......
Wash the bike and ride it :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

Haven't ridden since Sunday, frost or ice every morning, and we've lost an hour of daylight in the morning.
That hour was enough to take the edge off the frost, cant see much point in riding when its painful or risky :smt009
