Casual Pants?
Hi, just wondering if anyone has experience with casual biker pants? I want pants to go to work in during summer. I will change the pants once at work, but I don't want to be putting leather or textile pants on for the 9 mile trip in to work. I fancy jeans or similar but want some protection too. There are lots of such pants on ebay but I don't know anything about them.

I have a pair of Draggin jeans, nice and comfortable but one thing I would prefer is zips on the pockets so I could safely put my wallet, etc in without the worry of them flying out, mine are a few years old so maybe the newer ones have zips. There a quite loose fit, but apart fom some Kevlar in the hips and knees there's not much else, good though for a short run. I can't remember what make they were "not much help there" but a friend had similar jeans and they had proper armour at the knees etc. defiantly worth getting ones with better armour in.
If I find out the name I'll post up as they were in my opinion better than the Draggin jeans

I looked at Draggin jeans at the weekend, seems they are a bit more high t ech these days, using all round protection with a fabric called Dyneemar, plus kevlar plus upgradeable drop in armour.
Not cheap, £130 to £170,more for armour upgrade.
Very impressive videos with regard to the performance of the jeans, yes I would buy if I needed new textile pants

Hmmm biker pants .....
so this sort of thing ..........
Though if you are talking trousers - well it's a shame you missed out on the Aldi kevlar jeans a few weeks ago.
I bought my son some Hood jeans recently - got the ones that look like office type trousers. Very impressed - more kevlar than most of the other brands and they will cut them to whatever leg length you want
