We have recently had something similar here on the forum - think it was after a scottoiler had been fitted iirc

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Right. HELP!!! please

I have gone through the manual and tested every sensor listed and all giving the correct readings.
I have closely inspected, pulled and fiddled with the little vacuum pipes and they are not cracked at all. When we first tested the sensor on the air box it read slightly out of tolerance but later on we re-tested and it came within..? odd? also I assume if you suck on the sensor it should adjust the reading but it didn't?

Also we noticed when you turned the bars it seemed to cut out which leads me to think it's corroded wiring up the front...(which is now all off again ready to piss about some more) :(

Since we have been testing there has been different symptoms...
1) it lost power as I was wheelying and TPS came on - then 5 miles later you had to keep the revs up to keep it alive (just to get home)
2) fiddled with the TPS...took it out down the pub maybe 5 miles each way and it was fine
3)changed teh battery..then tried to start it and the revs went from 500rpm to 4000rpm and back and forth a few times until I killed it? odd?
4) tested some more, seemed to start up fine until you tried to pull away. For example I could ride it along my drive and then you'd go get geared up and try to pull off the drive (slightly up hill) and it'd cut out, start again but need revs to keep it alive..
5) tested all the EFI sensors as above. Now will start and not seem to play about but stalls when you turn left? I took the cover off that relay box but they all seem to be for headlight/fan etc? only 3 in there....? when you bashed the box a few times the bike would cut out? could this be linked? surely not?

6) running out of ideas massively :( please help.

You got an alarm fitted?

And look/clean the right hand switch gear - the engine kill switch

Deffo check/clean the kill switch. Does sound as though turning left is pulling on possibly loose or corroded connections/wiring in the right switch gear as Aladinsaneuk suggested. Poss even chafed wiring either on its way out of the switch gear or running around the headstock/into the frame area?
Two is the magic number... ;)

Sometimes works sometimes doesn't are very often a case of wiring issues - broken wires (maybe hidden within the insulation) or wiring exposed through the insulation shorting to the frame or something.

Not an easy job but careful checking of the wiring is a good place to start.
Also make sure the tip over sensor is properly installed and not flapping about or mounted the wrong way up.

I had an alarm. One of the first things I did was removing it...after this fault occurred though. I've done too much to it too soon inc changing cars, yoke etc..

I think checking the rhs switchgear is the next thing to do. Had to fall sensor out and checked resistance inc tipping it upside down and watching it change. It's back in correctly though. Quite simple as it's printed on the rubber holder :P

Starting to think it's got to be a wiring issue. Has the air box off several times now trying to gain access to everything. So check all the air/fuel hoses etc...
(one of the coolant hoses going into the pump? (the black thing that looks like a small tin can?) is leaking..looks like it just needs tightening though...cba doing that until this is fixed.....
