alpine star boots

#1 Post by slickliner6 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 2:22 pm

as the title says.

Brand new without the box, only worn around the house (to try and break them in).
I got these of the tinterweb and put them on without my leathers.(a bit tight but OK ,,,,,,i thought)
Put my leathers on and ,,,uh-oh.With my Herculian (FAT) size calves. They're too small.

They are size 9(43).White/black/florescent yellow and touches of red.

linky type thing here :-

Fashion will own a Harley or a Ducati and have no chance at all. Unless we stop for a pie or something.

On the boots - tried them under the leathers?

Is that fashion advice or just old fashioned tailoring talk ?
Mart and John Ridersites answer to Trinny and Susanah ?!

Do you mean to cover them up? :smt003

But seriously, it's worth a try.
I know the problem, all current sports boots seem to be for stick insects.
I always end up trying every pair in the shop and the initial problem for me, is getting them on even when starting at +1 in size.
I can't get most sports boots past my ankle, and when I do cant easily fasten them over the leathers.
The best ones for me were Sidi, but then again I bought the Black Rain Evo boots , which are more for touring.

jeeeessssus

i wish i had put sunglasses on!

even if they were the right size - thats the kind of thing worn by a chap who wants to park a falco sideways on a round about

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
