You may or may not have noticed, but a number of people have suggested that the Shiver (or the rumoured half-faired version) could fill the "Falco gap" in Aprilia's range.
It also shares the SL designation.

I think if the Shiver (bloody stupid name if ever there was one) takes off the Tuono will be history shortly after.
Rather like just after the introduction of the Mille Factory we saw the demise of the Falco and the old Mille.
Then there was the Futura, a fairly good looking bike, which died at birth as there were far to many touring bikes around.
Well thats my take on it and if I'm wrong well you can tell me I said so.
Mind you I like the looks of the bike (and the Tuono) in fact before i bought the BM I was thinking of getting a Tuono, but the Italians love change for changes sake, which put me off buying a brand new one.although it'll take a lot to convince me that it can be a Falco replacement
