Ridersite Fantasy Road Race 2013

#1 Post by D-Rider » Tue Feb 12, 2013 9:08 pm

Most forums seem to have their own Fantasy Road Race Private League within the MCN Fantasy Road Race game and Ridersite is no exception. Once again, we are racing again in 2013
Last season we had two team managers within the top 100 and one of them in the top 50 ...... out of about 42,000 players - so let's see if we can do even better this year.

If you're up to speed with it all then the important info is:
  • League Name: Ridersite Racing
    League PIN: 7628
Scores at the end of the 2013 season - after MotoGP Valencia

For Those That Are New To This:
  • What is Fantasy Road Race?
    • Fantasy Road race is a bit of fun that allows you to become the manager of a motorcycle road race super-team - with 2 riders in each of MotoGP, World Superbike and British Superbike.
You get to choose your team members from the real stars (and no-hopers) that actually compete in these championships and you score the points that the riders accumulate.
You do have to work within a budget of £10 million pounds (and you don't get to keep the change).

At certain points in the season you are able to mix your team up a bit - hiring and firing your riders.
    Scoring Points:

How Do I Sign Up to Play? Does It Cost Me Anything?
    • Only hours of sleepless nights pondering whether you've made the right choices - the game is FREE to play
    What Is A Private League?
    • Anyone can start a private league - they are typically groups of friends / forum members that wish to play against each other. The person who starts the league controls who joins it (in our case, that's me). People can apply to join using the league's PIN (see the top of this post) - I'll just approve your application.
How Do I Join The Ridersite Racing Private League?
Once you've registered, the game home page will give you the option "My Team" - Click that option.
    Image

On the "My Team" page, below your team selection, you will find "My Private Leagues". Click the "Enter New League" Button:
    Image

You will find the options to start your own league and to join an existing league. Type the Ridersite Racing PIN into the box in "Join An Existing League" and press go.
    Image

All that then remains is for me to add you to the league.

    Can I Win Anything?
    • Within the Private League, it's just for the honour of winning the game - or for most of us, the pleasure in taking part.
The Overall Winner of the MCN game will win a prize. This year it's a Honda CBR500R Winners of each round will also receive tickets to BSB rounds in 2013/2014
      Image
    By When Must I Join?
    • I think (though I could be wrong) you can join whenever you like but you really need to join before the game starts at 04:00 GMT on Saturday, 23 February (the scheduled start time for the WSB Superpole session in Australia). If you don't join by then you'll miss the points for the first race (and qualifying)
So all that remains is for you to join up, sign up your riders and wait for the racing season to start on Saturday 23rd Feb.

Good Luck and Happy Racing :smt003

and in :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yep - 5 of us so far.

My lad will sign up no doubt - please, someone beat him this year - he's won the past two years and needs putting in his place!

Still time to get your entries in - but don't leave it too late!

I wonder how many teams Gio is planning this year? Will he exceed his two from last year?

I've just received an email telling me:
andrew farquhar has just applied to join your Private League 'Ridersite Racing'.
..... however, when I've gone to accept this request to join, there are no new joiners waiting for me to approve.

If you are still trying to join, please try again - I'll be happy to add you to our league.
