Pair of Dunlop d212 gp pro tyres - Now Sold
Hey folks. Was going to run these myself but decided that due to my travel to work route being 10 min through the town centre I'll probably destroy them very quickly...
So, Dunlop d212 gp pro at 120/70/17 & 190/55/17. Pics tomorrow if I remember. I'm getting old you know.

I have no idea which ones they are or if they are any use to me but if they are road ones I need some but am poor as a churchmouse these days
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

Who needs money? Got a wife? Hahaha.
They are road legal tyres but primarily for track use.
I will unfortunately have to put a price on them though, once I figure out what is the ball park for tyres like these. They are such new tyres that there isn't many going around.

Fair play. I'm not sure what the price will be, probably around the £100 delivered due to prices for a rear on its own that I found at £80.
If you really want a cheap tyre then I've a square diablo strada at 180/55 and the front is a diablo or diablo corsa. Can have them at delivery costs but I took them off for a reason, rear looks old and front is getting low on wear.

Think I prefer the round ones how does the higher 190 work out then? just out of interest

No idea... Unfortunately not been properly used by myself...
I did only use bikes for going out for a blast, now it has to have two uses since the Mrs passed her car test...

I like them; I've got a 190/55 Sportsmart on the Falco and I really rate the way they handle and steer. But they do have a couple of downsides. One is the price - they're about £10-£15 more expensive than a 180/55. Also I had to remove my hugger as the different profile of the 190/55 fouled it. This was an NWS hugger on standard Falco swingarm, btw.flatlander wrote:how does the higher 190 work out then? just out of interest
I wouldn't even think about the 190/50. All of the disadvantages with none of the advantages.
Forgot to mention, they have been used around the track for a qualifying or practice session, obviously I'm not selling new at this price. In the process of removing them from my bike, once removed the pictures will be posted.

Was going to put a pic of the tyres up here but nobody seemed to have any interest mate so didn't bother. I don't even have pics now, a guy down south bought them and set up a courier. They're going back on a track bike.
