whoa someone really wanted them! I was at work so couldn't put a last minute bid on, so put what I thought was a ridiculously high amount just over £200 and still got outbid!

CRAZY!. Even the tank bag went for something like £65 and it had a buy it now of £55
wonder if whoever got 'em wants a new roll bag to match for £90?
looks like its some Oxford bags for me!
Oh well they never let me down when I wore a pair to junior school all those years ago

I was watching these just out of interest (I already have a set), I can't believe they managed that price.
Be careful with the oxford ones, I tried to wedge some on mine and I got very concerned about the seat fairing breaking. Worth trying out a mates set of oxford jobbies before you go ahead and buy some.

The luggage that Pete has got looks really good - can't remember what it's called but well worth considering. Very capacious.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I use a wolf man tail bag
http://www.windingroads.co.uk/shop/prod ... a-plus-bag
is very similar .... i have the older model
slips over the rear of the bike, then two straps attach and tighten to the rear foot rests - its very secure and balanced
how capacious - well, i can get a tent, sleeping bag, clothes, gas stove, pans and food into it
lots of straps on the outside also mean i can easily carry a folding chair ...
the original aprilia panniers are good btw, and do allow a pillion to be carried
the wolfman does however work with high mount cans....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'd like to borrow some of the wire racks for the panniers and make some of my own. Then reckon most soft panniers would be fine. Have already got the aprilia roll bag which to be honest isn't anything special and not really bothered about matching with it. would like a smallish tank bag and obviously a magnetic one wouldn't be too great on a plastic tank!

tank bag - i swear by the bagster / baglux system
I have a tank cover which is fitted just about all of the time, and i have a selection of different bags for different reasons....
generally I use a smaller bag with just water proofs and a chain lock in it
naturally enough, I did invest in getting the faster colour so it all matches.....

The very first time I rode my Falco was an 80 mile trip from Coventry to Lincoln. I left at a minute past midnight, (as soon as the insurance became valid!).
The bike looked like this.
Boy that was a fun ride. Never been so happy in my life!

Nice pic! have you still got that falco or was it the one for sale in bigby earlier this year?
Where do I get a tank cover from for the baglux tank bags? are they Falco specific or do tuono and mille ones fit?

They are specific to the Falco, I tried for months to get one on e-bay but had to buy a new one in the end.

have knocked up some racks using originals as a guide ( thanks Jay yours will soon be returned ) just need to get some bags now. Wont be spraying them yet tho' as I may be adding some extra supports depending on what type of panniers I get.
Fitted the keyhole brackets just in case some aprilia ones crop up!
Have noticed theres some spacers under the left hand passenger footpeg hangers but none under the right one, is that correct?
