#1 Post by fatboy » Thu Nov 22, 2012 7:11 pm

Dont charge an arm and a leg plus vat ? ?
May be a big ask, but if anyone knows of some one that shifts bikes cross country and would pick mine up en route and deliver to Griff at AP ?
Distance is prob less than 100 miles, Im near Bristol.
Sorry to sound like a penny pincher but I cant afford to pay for a one off trip, pitance income

Might be cheaper to hire a trailer - or a van - and do it yourself.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

put it up as a job on shiply.com and you'll get plenty of quotes at no cost to yourself.
I used Motorbikes2U otherwise known as Lee Costello Transport. He's got a lwb van and does circuits round the country with all sorts of bikes on. Top bloke, good service, very fair price.
Google his name, plenty of happy customers.

Thanks Random,
Tax runs out on toy Suzuki jeep at end of month, I thought it was going back to its owner in Cardiff, but she cant afford to insure it at the mo.
Think it will pay me to tax it and hire a trailer, £20 a day here !
