Blocked injectors ?
As everything on the fuel supply side has been checked, checked re checked, fuel is still not reaching the cylinders but fuel supply line full.
That leaves me to think blocked injectors.
The bike has been stood up for nearly 3 years, there is some manky shite in the tank so safe to assume crap deposits in injector bodies.
Someone did suggest soaking them in cleaner but im not sure it would work as the injectors are closed each end (opening under fuel pressure ?)
Any advice, info or contacts would be most welcome !

It is possible for injectors to "glue" closed with dried up fuel. When I did my EFI project (so many years ago now), I had to manually push the injectors open with the point of a nail before they would work.
Be warned though - there are several different types of nozzles that injector manufacturers use. You may not be able to push the centre bit back into the injector body. In which case it would be a job for the professionals.

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
Or obtain a spare set of TBs with injectors from someone on the forum with a spare set ..... like MeViking wrote:

I spoke to Griff today, described the fuel supply problems, he said he's fairly sure its electrical, probably one of the two injector relays or an ECU fault ( re needing to run an independant earth to the pump )
I thought the injectors looked pretty much sealed units, Griff didnt think they are servicable, cheaper to replace.
Will get the relays checked tomorrow, the bike has stood for a while so there's a chance of relays stuck closed, equal chance of the ECU being pre menstrual.
Diagnostics will be hellish pricey, may pay me to buy substitue parts

take the side light out of the headlight and wire it to the injector connector (loom side) and crank on the starter.
The bulb will glow a little if there is a signal getting to the injector. It's pretty feint so the darker the better when you try it.
If there's no glow then the ECU isn't sending a pulse to the injector or there's a fault in the wiring loom (unlikely).
I suppose you could eliminate the wiring loom by figuting out which pins to bridge the bulb across at the ECU.

good tip there falcopops,thanks.
Had a little look/see today, there is power into/out of both injector relays and power to No2 injector with starter button pressed, ran out of daylight to test No 1
Autumn is still the same over here !
Will try starting with injectors connected but removed from TB's, see what happens, yes a crude method compared to diagnostics but cheaper, been quoted £100 just to get the bike to and from garage so I have to do what I can !

Any idea which bike these are for?Kwackerz wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/APRILIA-RSV-M ... 27cbe2093f
I wanted to check whether they were for Gen1Mille/Falco or Gen2 RSVR but the part numbers quoted don't seem to tally with anything.
Confused

Theyve quoted manufacturer numbers not Aprilia ones
seems they fit a wide range of applications.. time to start popping bonnets at the local chav fest.. Application : Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi engines
