Proof, if ever it was needed, that his Falco is, as yet, far from as modified as he might claim it to be

Shame really I would have thought that some topcoat would be a good addition :)

As I was watching some of the Superbikes yesterday, and they sponsor the show, thought I would see what "We buy any bike.com" would offer for my Falco

So its an 05 with 8500 miles - they offered £1780.00 - obviously back to standard.

We buy any bike/car..........Wan**rs.

A mate of mine was going through a hard time (and foolishly told them so) and had to sell his civic type R.
lovely car reasonably low mileage couple of minor scratches, offered him £1500 below book price,he tried to hang on as long as he could, but xmas was coming up and was forced into selling it.autotrader and local ad's wasnt getting any response.

I called them 2 weeks later with "the same car" for a quote, and they quoted me £1000 below book price. £500 difference

Conclusion: if you are on the bones of your arse.....FFS DONT TELL THEM................
A day without a laugh is a day wasted.

mickt1964,

can you put a pic up of the bike, (doesn't have to be a big one - the pic that is), as I am very intrigued as to what it looks like, and just been discussing it with t'other half.

I recently sold my Bronze 2005 for 2400 privately. 18K miles full service very tidy.

I paid £2k for mine, standard with a few furry bolts... 2003, 14k miles.

Wish I'd seen yours at £2400 though!
