Why do we have to have yet another forum? Does this mean we'll be creating loads more for all the other topics we tend to discuss in the general forum?

Ive deleted about 8 forums over the past 6 months, combining their content with other already established ones.
Creating a hidden forum will have no impact on you as an admin bar the fact that in a 'view posts since last visit search' any topics in the footie forum will show as such. Whether the drivel is in general or TFF doesnt matter.
For others of a non admin level, it's an opt - in, so for those who dont want a footie forum, they havent got one.. for those who do, they just have to join it and they have one..
Hopefully that will reduce the impact when there's a footie thread.

So if it's hidden, anybody who is new will not know it exists and anyone who doesn't subscribe will probably forget it exists so that in a few months we'll be getting foottie threads in the General forum anyway .... seems a bit self-defeating and pointless ....
