Aprilia Falco SL1000 - red - 2005

#1 Post by big_kitch » Mon Jun 25, 2012 8:26 pm

After much heart searching I have decided to sell my Falco. First registered on 1st June 2005, I am the fourth owner and have owned it since February 2010. It has been a second bike and has been used infrequently and only in the dry. Current mileage is 10,159 - I have only done 2,000 miles on it during my stewardship, hence the sale.

The bike is red, fitted with rear shock from a Mille, Scorpion cans (originals also included), rear hugger, double bubble screen, heated grips, rear bobbins, aftermarket mirrors (for improved rear view), gear indicator, Fireblade sidestand. Pillion seat, owner's manual, Haynes manual also included.

Full service at 9,483 miles. Fresh MOT, expires 30th May 2013. Advisory that will need a rear tyre soon. Otherwise clean bill of health.

Can include paddock stand and Oxford cover at the right price.

Asking £2700. Located in Newbury, Berkshire.

Well blow me if it's not a US-spec Zorro edition. Nice bike chap, just a shame you only 'joined' to sell her.

If you read my joining date carefully you will see it was 29 June 2010, two years ago. Just been a lurker rather than a poster...

I'd noted that Big K. :smt002

and I might add that while Pete's warning is a wise one, applicants go thro a fairly vigorous screenng before being approved ..... or were at that point in time. :smt020
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Hi and welcome to the posting experience - always good when one of our "silent partners" pipes up.

The Falco looks nice ...... so if that's your second bike, what have you got taking pride of place?

Well know you've ce out if the closet ;) you may as well stay around I'm sure no one will begrudge your height or your choice of bike heck apparently there's been midget stunt bikers on here for years. You could average out the height quotient :)
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
