Have you been on those sites? Full of idiots.. At least with a RiderSport area, we could take the piss without fear of windows being put through and cat's being set on fire..lolSamray wrote:I'd suggest Gio tries voicing his opinions on a football site.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
I can only assume that some have never played the game .... or, if they have, have never got over being a bit crap at it.
TBH there's even room for them - we have a team full of them in Coventry.

Well... There are several versions of the game spread around the world involving different shaped balls and various codes and or rules.
Se are also known by other news such as Rugby, Aussie Rules, some make sense in a cultural environment where social mores have restricted the expression of tribalism or more primitive displays of potency.
Others fall somewhere between the categories and share a common history often linked to the segregation and develoent if class structures. Football in the form of soccer and Rugby league spring most to mind. One argument is that these were traditionally more associated with working classes and hence the need for professionalism whereas codes such as Rugby Union became associated more with middle and upper classes and as such remained amateur until relatively recently.
The intertwining of the various complex influences is often forgotten as the lines become blurred by the potential for capitalist exploitation and the sports themselves move away on focus from traditional roots as class structures and communities / tribes dwindle.
Then the real rump of these activities are left at the mercy of the globalist mercenaries and often have no real sense purpose and finally end up with no point and being played by a bunch of drugged up jesses ... American football of you will
I hope that poor sketch of some of the background as to what is football has helped if not I can either provide a further reading list or attempt to expand more ;)

Actually, we've lost more than a handful in the last 6 months.. so gaining one about football wouldnt upset the applecart.
I shall make one up, have it group membership only and add a group, opt in to view..

...that way those opposed dont have to see it and I can keep all the whinging footie posts out of sight..
