2003 Mille Shock & Linkages for sale

#1 Post by Falco9 » Sat Apr 07, 2007 12:18 pm

Having a bit of a clearout since selling the Falco, so I thought I'd give you guys first dibs on these bits before going down the dreaded fleabay option. I would have said yellow spring shock but as you can see I've had the spring powder coated in Red, which I reckon looks pretty good.

Overall the shock is in good condition, nice & clean as you can see. The piston is perfect and the action seems nice & smooth although I never actually used it in anger. The Linkages are in perfect condition and have only done about 1,000 miles from new

There is also a Mille sprocket cover available (in the fast black colour) if anyone is doing the Evo / MPL clutch slave cylinder conversion for £10

I'm looking for £75 for the shock & linkages (I'd prefer not to split them)

My job takes me all over the country so I'm sure a delivery can be arranged, or meet up at a convenient spot etc..

Hi M8,
What you see is what you get basically. It is a Sachs and apart from the red spring is completely standard.
The guy I bought it off reckoned it was from a 2003 Mille. He hadn't used it as it didn't have enough stroke for the special he was building. I haven't used it as I was planning to see how it compared to the Ohlins I had fitted, and as you probably know I've now sold the Falco.
So it's been unused for about 2 yrs, The Sachs sticker was looking 2nd hand hence the Aprilia replacement, all I've done is give it a wipe over and have the spring recoated in red as I don't like things looking standard if at all possible

Hi Bigun,

Buy a brand new Tuono one - same as the Mille but cheaper .... and cheaper than that second-hand tat that Rich was flogging.

Sorry Rich - wasn't really trying to expose your scam of buying Tuono parts and flogging them on at "slightly-used Mille" prices - but as Paul needed one i felt i'd better point him in the right direction.

Got one on order myself at the moment - just in case one of those bling MPL slaves comes up at a good price
