Mallory Park - 1000 bike festival 6th to 8th july 2012

OK - let the madness start :)

http://www.vmcc.net/1000bikes/ for the official website

Main names to see in the flesh are Randy Mamola, and Kevin Schwantz - along with Tepi Lansivuori, Mick Grant & Stan Woods, Carl “Foggy” Fogarty, Neil Hodgson, Paul Smart & other ex works riders including “Frankie” Chili - I also noticed that Phil Read, The Norton Rotary boys etc are also out and about.... and for those who like a little madness, I notice that one Keith Flint is out playing on a WSB Suzuki - he is the front man of the prodigy :)

But - as well as all this, we have several Falco riders out on the track on saturday. Keef - Hisnibbs and Jay, Blinky501 are both booked in for three sessions while Pete - Aladinsaneuk and Craig are booked in for one session - All four are in session 31 at approximately 1645

I know that Craig, Pete and Jay are all booked into the bed and breakfast - others are camping

Pete and Craig are intending to arrive at around 1530 on the friday

Please feel free to post here if you are coming along to see if we can get to meet up :)

For those who have not been before - this si a great week end - good craig on the friday and saturday nights and some awesome sights and sounds on the track - and the old boys can still ride like demons....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Looking at the entries I reckon the most popular bike in the "very fast road bikes" section is the Susuki RG500.

Falcos out number Millies but then that is not a surprise. :smt002

I won't get back from Japan until Saturday afternoon but I hope to pop over - Sunday is more likely than Saturday ...........
