E-mailing PDF files?

#1 Post by MartDude » Mon Jun 11, 2012 12:19 pm

How does one e-mail selected pages of a PDF file, please?

You will need to create a new file or files with a pdf editor and then send as attachments in the normal way

unless, of course, you are using a mac - we can just do it

windows is harder as you do need to have a PDF editor....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

As you will with a mac - I guess it's just that it's built into a mac - maybe defraying a small fraction of the huuuuuge premium you pay for buying into the brand

Not completely sure; but you may be able to install CutePDF, which captures print output to a pdf file. Then "print" the pages you're interested in.

- what I'm unsure of, is whether it will be recognized within Adobe Reader. But try it! :)

What SimonDK said, you should be able to select the pages you want in one hit, and it will print to a single document rather than multiple

Alternative is to go through each page you want, and copy it to the clipboard using the "Snapshot" tool, and paste into a new document (i.e. word doc)

Ah - I use Cute PDF writer and good it is too. I've never thought (or needed) to use it on existing pdfs - just for creating new ones

Adobe reader will read files created by Cute PDF
