AGV S4 sv helmet

#1 Post by k1w1boy » Mon Jun 04, 2012 9:46 pm

... decided to take hg up on it's spend-£200-get-£60-off deal to replace my lid. Was replacing an AGV 'stealth' - didn't honestly shop too hard. I knew the sizing for agv would be pretty much the same and rather than getting the same helmet, I bought a matte-black s4 sv. Was slightly leary of the quick release buckle after years of using d-ring closure, but the thing fit ok, and on a quick 50mile blast- noise levels, airflow and everything seemed good too.

Belatedly read reviews of the thing and saw all sorts of drama with both wind noise and airflow. Anyone else had one of these (not that I'm taking it back or anything)?

Depends on the shape of your head .... Mine is AGV shaped. :smt002
Don't forget to check regularly that buckle is still tight.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I really quite liked that range of helmets only 2 things really stopped me getting one
Paranoia about not having s ring fastening and yes it is just a "thing" I have never checked into it.
More importantly having a head like the elephant man after a beating I basically need to put a shaped bucket on my head :smt001

Really did quite like them though shame about my Brucie chin
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
