Trailer wanted to carry a trike

#1 Post by BikerGran » Mon May 21, 2012 7:21 pm

Looking for a trailer that my trike will fit on, to borrow or buy if not too many £££ - (most 3-bike trailers are too small.)
Need it for 2 weeks in June for my trip to Scotland.
Oh and it needs to be within a reasonable distance from home which is Dorset!

Do a search on ebay for trike trailer. There are some dolly's for £150 if that is what sort you are looking for. They are fairly small compared to a full blown trailer.

No I'm after a trailer. Got a search running on Ebay, nothing suitable at present so I'm posting everywhere to avoid the usual "Wish you'd said, I've got one you could have used" syndrome!

A bit pricey bobbi but if you could hire one.
Does your trike have the same foot print size has a smart car, maybe worth checking the dimentions, and fitting a middle rail to the trailer for the duration :smt002

That would be perfect but I don't have that kind of cash!

It would cost me £200 to hire a trailer for 2 weeks, and I'd probably need a couple of extra days as well - my idea is that if I could buy a seconhand one, I could sell it afterwards and get some cash back.
