Marches Meet - comms

#1 Post by MartDude » Wed May 09, 2012 4:25 pm

Bobbi's post re tablets etc. just reminded me -

Please note that, unless things have improved since last year, mobile reception on the camp-site in particular, and in the immediate locality generally, is not very good - getting a signal is a bit like trying to hold a politician to a manifesto pledge.

The village green was best I found - the west side if I remember rightly!

go to pub

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Ever been sober in a field full of drunken people?

I've started my preparations.
Thumbed the big one into life to make sure everything is still working then went into the garden for a trial erection.
Where ever I lay my hat.....
