Life is what happens..........

................ while you're making other plans.

Isn't it odd the way you think you've got it all organised then everything starts to be a problem at the same time? There I was planning my summer, the trike was going to be modified in good time for my first rally on 20th April, a trailer organised to tow the trike up to Scotland for the Simmer Dim rally, looking forward to daughter from Southport visiting this weekend, bought a water butt to defend my garden from the drought........

So the bloke's had the trike since March and it's STILL not ready, he says it won't idle - don't know why, I had no problems with it on the way up there. Now I hear that the trailer I was borrowing, which I was assured was huge, isn't huge enough to take my (fairly small) trike. Daughter is staying a few miles away with her sister but hasn't made contact about visiting (kids pee you off!), and the extension tube I bought cos I can't put the water butt where I wanted to is too small - and it's bloody raining AGAIN!

Nothing life-threatening or earth-shattering, just pee'd off and wanted to share!

Sadly, always the way!

There do seem to be a few that go through life with everything dropping nicely into place but for the rest of us, the surprises generally seem to be of the unhelpful kind.

I try to remind myself that there's always someone who has things worse.

Anyway BG, I hope you negotiate these latest challenges successfully - I'm sure you will
